Konshens, Raine stole my song
Sekkle Dung Wendy

Another up-and-coming dancehall artiste is claiming that a more established act has stolen the concept of their song.
Recording artiste Sekkle Dung Wendy claims that Sekkle Dung Body, performed by Konshens and Raine Seville, is based on a concept that she came up with in 2012.
According to Sekkle Dung Wendy, she recorded a song called Sekkle Dung Something on Cashflow RecordsSchool Bag rhythm, however, the song was not very popular commercially, hence other artistes could easily pass it off as their material.
"My artiste name has been Sekkle Dung Wendy since 2008 when I just started music, so it's based on my name that I came up with the concept that says 'Sekkle Dung Something'. I even have another song called Sekkle Wine," she said.
The artiste revealed that she is known to both Raine Seville and Konshens, and has no grudges against them. However, she would have preferred if they had told her that they were going to borrow her concept prior to releasing the song.
"If it wasn't my concept people wouldn't be messaging me asking me what I'm going to do about it. I just want the people to know that a my title and a my style," Sekkle Dung Wendy said.
Despite the claim that her concept was stolen, the artiste says some positives can be drawn from the situation because her song is getting more popular than before. A video was released for her single in 2012, however, since Konshens and Raine started to promote their effort, persons are catching on to Sekkle Dung Wendy's version. She also said that she has since been getting more attention on social networks.
argument is ridiculous
The WEEKEND STAR contacted Miguel Noble, who operates as Konshens' manager. According to him, Sekkle Dung Wendy's claim is ridiculous.
"I am aware of the person but I am not aware of the argument, but the argument is ridiculous," Noble said.
The WEEKEND STAR also made contact with DJ Neil of Cashflow Records who confirmed that Sekkle Dung Wendy had recorded her song in 2012, but said he wasn't aware of the current controversy.
Konshens is currently in New York where he is expected to perform at Stony Brook University.
This marks the third time in weeks that an up-and-coming act has claimed to have been robbed of a song concept by an established artiste.
Princz Charmin accused RDX of stealing his Kotch single followed by Dazzla who claimed he said Wuck Up Yu Body first, now joined by Sekkle Dung Wendy who claims ownership of the 'Sekkle Dung' concept.
